Therefore if your job does random urine drug tests do not eat poppy seed muffins during the week. As far as a hair drug test, the poppy seeds which show up as morphine in drug tests show up generally in lower amounts. You may pass a hair drug test but fail the urine test, so if they use both tests then reconsider your choice of breakfast pastry. Why take the chance? Just don’t eat poppy seed items if you know you have to pass a drug test.
